we have requested wheel chair for my mom who is travelling alone for the first time although she does not have any problem. Few questions regarding the assistance as we are not aware of the whole process.
1.Before she comes out of the flight, should she mention to airhostess that she has requested for wheel chair. Will the person who will assist with the wheel chair be waiting outside the flight.
2.should she wait for other passengers to go out before her ?
3.In the transit will they take her to the gate in which the next flight will depart
4.finally , how does the baggage collection work at the destination ?
sorry for so many questions - we are really worried as she has not done any air travelling before and she does not speak fluent english.
