Same day passport collection - possible?

Hi folks -

Planning to apply B2 for my mother at Kolkata consulate -

8/6 am - Travel to Kolkata (flight reaches 9am)
8/6 4pm - OFC appointment (slot available)
8/7 8:15am - Interview (slot available)
8/7 3pm - Passport pickup (if approved)
8/8 am - travel back

My question is mainly on pickup timing - is same day pickup possible from the Kolkata Blue Dart location? This is the timing they have -

Mon-Fri 10:00a.m.-4:00p.m. Sun:1:00p.m.-5:00p.m.

Same day pickup is possible at consulate or OFC - check with some helper there at embassy after the interview.
