Visitor Visa Validity period

HI all,

My mother got her 6 month visitor visa(march 2006) with a great difficulty (because of previous extension in 2000).Her visa was stamped till the 1st week of august 2006. She landed in april( one month after getting her visa) and now her I-94 was stamped till the 1st week of september. Now Iam confused , as for how long she can stay here lawfully without voilating her visa stay. This is very important to me because I am planning to send her to the embassy again next year,hoping to get a 10 year multiple enrty visa.

Please advise,as how the rule goes, according to the visa stamped or the I-94 validity date?

Broadly speaking, she can stay as long as I-94 is valid.
But in your case, I think it is better to send her back per Visa validity period, as it is ... Just one month more in I-94 and planning to send her one more time
