Passport Name change

Hi,

My mam has interview this month. Recently her name is changed. Now she has 2 passorts. Suppose, if she is granted the visa , she needs to give 2 passports to the consulate? or the recent one is enough.

Mine also similar case...
I took appointment for my mother and later realized that there is a name problem in her passport. Contacted passport office, thy issued another passport. My mother has appointment in AUG. I tought of asking her to take both passports and show them while entering in the office, because appointment took based on old passport number.
Visa stamping should be done on new passport.
