Sponsor Docs - Is 1040 mandatory?

Hi

My sister is sponsoring my visa.Is it necessary for me to have both her 1040 returns and W2 forms?She has sponsored for our parents and a cousin previously,she didn't send 1040 at that time.

In the letter to the consulate Invite letter,reasons are sometimes given for the invitee to come back to India.Is it recommended to give the reasons the very first attempt
