  • DS160 Form Submitted after Visa Interview was scheduled

    Hi ,

I have scheduled an appointment for my parent's B2 visa interview (Aug 29/30). The appoint was created on July 22nd. Since I was not sure on some of the data to be filled, I didnt submit the DS160 form on that day. In order to get the earliest possible date for interview, what I did was I gave the DS160 form number in the visa interview form and scheduled the appointment. At that time the DS160 form was not finished . Only today I filled the remaining details and submitted the DS160 form.

Will this create a problem ?, that I didnt submit the DS160 form during the time the interview was scheduled . Or should I cancel the current appointment and create a new one ?

    Thanks,
    Anil

You can scheduled the appointment well in advance & submit the DS160 form before 2 days of your appointment & it will be fine. No need to worry.

Infact, if you see some issue in your current DS160 form, you can still keep the same appointment & create another DS160 to be used.
