Visitor VISA for poor aunt - question

Hello, I would like to bring my aunt (aged 55 yrs) to stay with me for 6 months. Her husband passed away recently and her 2 children have 'abandoned' her.

She is from my village and she doesnt have much property.

She can probably show a bank balance of around Rs.15,000 as a 'property'.
But, that's it.
No jewellery, land, etc... etc..

Will this be a problem in her getting a VISA?

As long as you can sponsor her, there should not be much problem. But it really depends.

i am in a similar situation too. I do have an aunt who basically has nothing else other than some money in the bank. I was wondering if your aunt got the visa. what paper work did u submit? was there extra papre work involved? please let me know
