Intended length of stay question in DS160

Hi ,

B2 Visa interview for my parents is scheduled for next week. In the DS160 form , I have entered the duration as 3 months .

Is it fine to give 3 months as duration, or should I create a new DS160 and give 1 month as duration.

I would like to know , whether the chance of getting Visa approval is less if you give 3 months as duration ?

For Parents its fine to mention long duration.

VO usually do not ask for length of stay for parents.
