I had my I-20 terminated my junior year in college because I missed too many classes. I left the country around 6 weeks after the termination once the school semester was finished. I'm from a VWP country (Sweden) and one of the eligibility questions on the ESTA asks "Have you ever stayed in the United States longer than the admission period granted to you by the U.S. government? As a result of my I-20 termination how do I answer this question? Do I put down Yes or No? If I put down Yes I assume my ESTA application will be rejected? If that's the case should I apply regardless and see? or should I just skip the ESTA and apply straight for a B2?
