Hi,
I am on H1-b visa and I am planning to apply for my parents' visitor visa. They live in Gujarat and so they will have to appear @Mumbai consulate.
I have heard that when you appear for Visitor Visa, you will have to show them some solid reason for
1 - why you are visiting USA and
2 - why you will come back to India after your visa is expired.
My question is -- how to make the visa officers believe for above mentioned 2 reasons, when they really dont have any other reason for the visit, other than just Tourism?
Moreover, they both were govt. servants and now are enjoying their retired life!
Another Important thing -- I have also heard that chances for more if parents appear separately, instead of together. Does it really make any difference? Any experience?
I thank you all in advance for any information that you can share with me!!
Thanks Much,
Neel.
