My parents got visa last year (Dec, 2005) without any problem for 1yr from Kolkota. But, they couldn't travel on this visa as they have to stay in India to take care of some personal issue.
Now, they want to travel to US on January, 2007. So, I'm again taking interview date sometime in Nov, 2006.
My questions:
- When my parents will go to consulate (Nov, 2006), they'll have old tourist visa stamped and valid till Dec, 2006.
- If parents ask for tourist visa to travel in Jan 2007. I'm not sure if my parents not using last tourist visa will create negative effect on prospect of getting visa again. Also, visa will be valid for another month and half when they will go for interview.
