Urgent: Remarks written on I-94 card at POE

my mother in law came to US (her 3rd visit, her last visit was 7 months back) on sunday and she was given only 3 months of stay on her I-94. Officer has asked her why she is coming to US again after 6 months and he has written words like 'LIMITED STAY' and 'NO EOS/AOS' on the I-94 card

we want to apply for her extension of stay from 3 months to 6 months. my question is

1) is it ok to apply for extension even after writing those above remarks

2) will it affect her visa, if we apply

3) is it good idea to apply for extension now since she just came 2 days back

For limited stay stamp holders, it is not advisable to apply for an extension.
