Getting appointment for Visitor VISA

Hi,

Are we supposed to fill in DS-156 and DS 157 before getting an appointment date on VFS website?

Thats what I am experiencing. Is this expected?

yes, both forms needs to be filled out..

I dont have all the info to fill up DS-157. Can I change this form at a later date. I am fine with DS-156.

This is for Delhi.
