  • Married to us citizen

    Hi all,
Just curious what the likelihood of me getting a b2 visa would be if I am married to a us citizen.
The plan is for me to live there as long as my visa lasts while we apply for his permanent residency in Canada, as soon as his Canadian PR is approved, we will move back to Canada. If I explained this to the border officers, do you think they would reject my application?
    Any input is helpful, thanks!

there's a almost guaranteed chance that your visa will be rejected, a B2 visa is for tourism/Visitors purposes, not for living with your husband until he gains residency. now at the same time you don't technically have to mention that you're coming to visit your husband if they don't ask, but if they ask you must tell the truth.

In DS160 form for visa, she'll have to mention about her husband living in USA under the immediate relative section.

High chances the visa will be rejected.
