    Hello I am 18 years old my father got accept for green card because of his brother and he?s suppose to get it between 1-3 months and after that I should be getting it months later .. can I get a visa to wait in the USA to get my green card?

      Why not? I?ve been told I can but I just wanted to be sure.. I wanna go early so I can sign up for a school and get everything set early while I wait for my greencard to come

        Getting an non-immigrant visa while your immigration application is pending is not possible.

        The reason is you've already shown your intend of immigration & the first requirement to get the B1/B2 visa is to show strong ties to their home country - which you won't be able to show in your case.

          you are neither aligable or eligible. since you have applied for adjustment of status, your intent is no longer to be a visitor to the US thus you are not eligible for a Tourist Visa.
