Hey Friends,
yes.. you ppl guessed it correctly!! My parents in law got their visa today. I got reference of this site from one of my friend and followed this site for the whole process of visitor visa.
I would really like to thank each and every person involved (either building this site or making this forum alive). I always got clarification for my queries from this forum. (although i was never get into directly).
Here is background.
I am here on L1 and my husband is on L2. This was the first concerned we had. He is having EAD and working as self employed!. So we decided to be myself as a sponsor. In I-134 i had shown my husband as wholy dependent as i got advice from many ppl that he should be shown as dependent as he is not having any full time job!. We were concerned as we filled the IT return together where his income was shown as business income!
My FIL is retired and MIL is home maker. He is only son and my elder SIL is in Indai, married and blessed with two kids.
Questions Asked.
1) Why do you want to go to USA?
2) Where does your DIL work?
3) (After looking at their passport) Had you been to UK?
My FIL & MIL both visited UK twice and FIL also visited USA once.
Thants it.
They did not ask for any documents.
I cann't say anything about the crieteria Consulate ppl are following. But i think temporary visa holder ppl have stronger position to get visitor visa for their relatives. Again i am employee of indian co.! None of my collegues' parents' visa denied till now!
But again you can not conclude anything. They are reallly unpredictable.
They got 10 Yrs. mulitple entry visa. And yes this was their first attempt.
Thanks Again and wish you all the best.
