Applying B2 for parents Visa while I 797 due to expire in 3 months

Hello,

I am trying to apply B2 visa for my parents in Dec 2018 while my Form I-129S is going to expire on Mar 2019 am I am in process of extending it and I am not sure how long it takes to get the decision.

my I94 and Visa are valid until Mar 2021.

Please advice whether it is a good idea to apply B2 visit visa for my parents now?

Your petition status doesn't matter for your parents visa application, your legal presence does.

So as long as you are staying here legally, you can apply for their tourist visa.
