Emergency Appointment

I want to book an emergency appointment for interview for my mother to attend my wedding which was just fixed.

Information on the consulate for Delhi website clearly says that parents/siblings and blood relations can seek emergency appointments for wedding. However no such specific information is available on the information in the website of the Chennai Consulate.

Do the rules for the different consulates vary?
Can I apply for an emergency appointment in Chennai consulate based on the information posted in the Delhi consulate website?

Per VFS,
Travel for the purpose of attending weddings, assisting pregnant daughters , or attending graduation ceremonies do not qualify for emergency appointments. For such travel, please request an ordinary appointment well in advance

So I dont think you can go for Emergency appt for your mother
