B1/B2 Tourist Visa - Urgent Info needed

I am sponsoring my mother-in-law and she is working for state government in India. Her visa appointment is on July end and she is retiring from job on June end., all the documents that I filled show as if she is working, at the time of interview she will retired. Should I change all the documents as RETIRED or should I leave it as is ??


If retired what are the documents consulate may need to verify. ?

Better change to RETIRED. (She can say "retired n week/days back" when she asked for "what is your profession/ when you did you retire?")
