Thanks immihelp for the step by step guide available on this site. I never had to ask any question about VISA documents/details, thanks to the well-explained information available on your website.
Here is my case ----
I am on H4 and my Husband is on H1. He sponsored my parents. We sent all the required documents, invitation letter etc as suggested by this website (again, job well done immihelp ) and info available on Delhi Consulate website. The interview went very smoothly. As there is no option of choosing a Hindi/native language for interview in Delhi consulate my parents were ready to take the I/V in English, but upon their arrival they were asked if they would like to go to a Hindi speaking counter (Mom told me there were 4 counetrs, 3 in English and 1 in Hindi). They chose Hindi. The VISA officer was Indian-amerciacn lady and was speaking nicely. She asked only 3 questions after having a look at the documents.
1. Who lives in USA?
Daughter and son-in-law.
2. Does your daughter have a job?
No
2. Who else is back there in India?
our bacheor son and married daughter.
She didn't ask for my husband's comapny name, location salary etc..Just smiled and said in Hindi that your VISA is granted. You will be getting it via courier. Pay the fees and give the fingerprints.
I don't know yet for how long they got the VISA. I am hoping for a 5 year or 10 year multiple entry though.
Thanks for IMMIHELP administraion and to all those who contribute to this site with their experiences and knowledge about the VISA procedure.
