My boyfriend and I are trying to see what is the easiest, safest and fastest option we have in order for us to live together in the states. He is an American Citizen and I am a Canadian Permanent Resident. We were thinking of getting a work visa, and our last option is getting married. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Get a tourist visa & keep visiting (max 6 months per visit) your boy friend, until you get married. Once you file for an immigration petition, it will be difficult to get any non-immigrant visa.
