Early renewal of B1/B2 Visa

My mother has a somewhat a similar issue with her renewal, you see we would like to renew her visa earlier than 6 months but we are not sure if that's possible. Her US visa expires on September 24, 2019 (9 months early) and we would like to renew it while she is visiting us here in Canada. My question to anyone in this forum is this possible and if yes what are the rules and exceptions of renewing my mom's visa early? Many thanks to the people who will reply.

Why do you want to renew that - you still have 9 months to use it. Remember you can use that visa to enter even on the last day of expiry of the visa - you surely need passport valid for next 6 months though.

There is no published rule as to when you can renew your visa.
