  • My parents got visa at Chennai- 2nd attempt

    Hi All
I am very happy to let you know that my parents got visa at Chennai today 21st. I do not know the further details. Just now my father called and told me that they got visa for 6 months. This was their 2nd attempt(Malayalam interview). Their visa was rejected in Jan 21st 2006 under 214(b). Last time I sponsored them . This time my husband sponsored them(I am not working now ). I am very happy now. My parents will reach home tomorrow evening and I will ask the questions during interview and post it.

Thanks to all of you in this forum

NB: This time we kept a notarized letter (as posted in the immihelp forum) to the CO explaining my parents ties in India(financial and family). And asked my parents to give the letter when they hand over DS156 and DS 157 to CO.
