Applied single but married in reality

Hi I would like to ask if there's going to be a problem in the immigration if I wrote single in my marital status but in reality i'm married.. i just confused when i filled up my application because I just got married and my passport is not changed yet.

is there also possibility that they will cancel my visa if they checked my marital status?

please help me and answer my query thanks a lot..

Hiding the truth can lead to a direct rejection.

On the other side, showing yourself as married is a big plus for tourist visa & for USA visa you don't need to have your spouse name added in passport - another form of proof can also work.
