Visitors visa renewal

Hi, My parents got B1/B2 Visitors visa in 2008. Now I am filling DS 160 for renewal. Do I need to select B2 or B1/B2 ? In 2008 I am not sure application has these options or not.

I think you should select B1/B2 because you said their visa is also B1/B2.

B1 allow visitors to do some business on their visit. You can read

Since your purpose of visit is tourism alone - my suggestion would be to apply for B2 alone, they will eventually get B1/B2.
