Visitor Visa to my parents for attending my graduation

Hi all,

I am doing my Masters degree here and my parents are willing to attend my graduation in December.

1) Will the Visa be a B-2?
2) Who will be the sponsor? Can they sponsor for themselves? If so how much amount should they show.
3) Both of them want to attend the interview together at the Chennai consulate (I am from Vijayawada). Could they book a slot to attend the interview at the same time?

Better they sponsor the trip as you still a student and may not have good amount to support their trip. they need to show arnd 10-12ls worth property and stong ties to show that they wld come back
