Visitor Visa B2 Query

Hi i have applied for B1/B2 visa category for myself & my parents but the sole purpose of our travel is B2 (Tourist).
Will we be denied the visa because we don't have any business purpose for our trip ?
What should we answer to the Visa officer if he/she happens to question the same?

PS:We have positive travel history in the past 5 years & my parents are quite stable financially ( Government Employees), But I'm a student dependent upon them.Also i have already scheduled an appointment.

You should have applied for B2 alone.

Chances are 50-50 based on provided information. There are several other factors considered before providing visa.
