Hi.
Little background.
My wife and 1 kid applied for B2 visa in 2011 rejected. (Had only 1 kid)
My wife and 2 kids applied for B2 visa in 2013 (i already had visa B2) their visas were approved. At that time only my brother was in US as LPR. (Had 2 kids)
Current status:
My wife's parents are in US as F4 LPR.
My brother in US as US national now.
Visa expired for wife and kids as 5 years gone by.
Again applied for B2 visa this time with my newborn kid recently born in dec2018. I.e wife and 3 kids. (As i again have B2 visa)
My wife anr kids Travel history: visited US 4 times every year from.2015 to 2018 not for more than 40 days for vacations and family reunion.
So on 22nd feb 2019 we went to Islamabad US consulate.
VO asked these qs:
1. Why you want to go to US
To meet parents bro in law and for vacations.
2. Who are with you right now.
My kids
3. Have your kids traveled with you to US.
Yes
4.have you ever changed ur name. (This was first question as she changed her name after her wedding i.e surname from father's name to husband name)
Yes once.
5.what do you do
School teacher
6. What do you do sir ( asked me as i was with thrm too inside embassy although i have valid US vsia)
Businessman. Details given.
The VO didnt ask much questions just normal questions and handed them white paper with 221(G) saying i am taking your passports but he will need some more information which he will email us today which he did. General questions again in email like which country they visited how many siblings she has, last 5 years phone numbers 15 years addresses etc. We replied same day after 2 hours we received email .
So can anyone tell me what does that mean? We are really worried. Thanks in advance
In my opinion does it has to do with that they want to check whether we applied for immigration f3 or f4 as in ds form we said No. In actual as well we havnt. As my brother and my wife's parents are in US. Or something else. Please advise.
