Valid visa on expired pp, entry stamp new passport. I-94 shows up with old pp number

I have a valid B1/B2 Visa stamped on my old, expired passport (expired in 2017). I recently renewed my passport and entered USA. At the Port of entry, the CBP officer stamped my new passport with the class as B2. I have since been unable to retrieve my I-94 for the current visit via the online portal.
Today, I attempted to retrieve my I-94 using the old, expired passport number and I was able to get an I-94 which shows my duration of stay as valid till August 2019.
I'm concerned that since my latest I-94 is tied to my old expired passport , it is incorrect and I need to get this fixed. Should I attempt to fix this or leave it as is. Please let me know.
