B1/B2 Tourist Visa - Urgent Info needed

My parents got Tourist visa for 6 months, starting July - Dec. They are planning to start travel to USA by October, so how long they can stay in USA mean 6 months from date of arival or till the visa expires. ??

It will depend upon the date on I-94 they will receive on arrival. They can stay till the I-94 is valid.
