Mom got visa first time in chennai consulate!!

Hi Everyone,
I want to thank each and every member of this group especially Dahlia and Swetha who had answered my queries everytime. This forum is simply wonderful and so useful.

I had prepared all of the documents according to this website and I had trained my mom with the routine questions. She had her interview in tamil today, june 29th at 9:45 A.M. She went inside around 9:30 A.M and was back at 12:50P.M. According to her, the VO is an american officer (lady) who can talk in tamil. My mom says she rejected visas for 4 or 5 cases before her.

The questions were:
Vo : How many children you have??
Mom: 2 and she showed the photos

Vo: Are you working? (my mom is a state government employee)
Mom: yes and I have my NOC and leave sanctioned for 6 months.

Vo: So, how long do you want to stay??
Mom: only 4 months (as written in the application)

Vo: Where does your husband work??
Mom: he is government employee too and told where he is working.

Vo: Show me the docs sent by your Son in law
Mom: showed the entire set of documents

Vo: show me your working certificate
Mom: showed hers

Vo: so, do you know to talk only in tamil
Mom: No, i can talk in english a little bit.

Vo:that's nice and I am giving you visa. Go and PAy the fees
Mom: thankyou mam

We don't know for how many months/years, single/multiple entry yet.

[u]Could someone help me filling correct information for the 37th item of the DS-156 form. For the added information. My husban is on the H1B visa and I am on the H4 visa. My mother was denied visa and the VO circled the 37th item in the form. My mother did not ask for the reason.
