barcode question

I had filled in the form Ds-156 online and the arcode appeared in the section. However the last name was spelled wrong in the online application, so now I am manually filling another DS1-56.my question is I cannot put the barcode in the section. how would the visa officer put the barcode information on my new form.
Or would they just see my barcode recipt at the time of interview and process it somehow..

Carry both papers (one with barcode printed) and other without barcode and let the officer know the changes....
