Mother got visa in chennai consulate

My mother got 10 year Multiple entry visa on june 26th in chennai consulate.Her appointment is at 8:30 a.m.She was back by 10:00a.m.We took a telugu translator.

My back ground details:

I have a younger brother who is unmarried and working in india.
My mother is a house wife and father was retired and looking after our lands and properties.
We have a good financial back ground with all the bank statements and properties stuff.
So we were confident as we have enough ties back in india.
We prepared documents as per this site.It really helped us a lot.
Myself and my husband are working.Here my husband is the sponserer.

VO(lady) asked the following questions.

VO:How many children do u have?
Mom:son and 1 daughter

VO:what is ur son doing?
Mom:working as s/w in xxxxxx

VO:what is ur daughter doing?
Mom:working as s/w in US

VO:what is her name?
Mom:xxxxxx

VO: Does your daughter have kids?
Mom:No

VO:Are u going alone?
Mom:yes

VO:what is ur husband doing?
Mom:worked as xxxxx and retired and now looking after our fields ..etc

VO:what is ur yearly income?
Mom:xxxxxx

VO:For how long u want to stay?
Mom:3 months(we mentioned the same in the form)

VO:you should come back in 6 months
Mom:yes

He asked for the sponser documents and went thru it and asked her to pay the fee.They didnt ask for the Visitors file.My mother was a bit nervous thinking about the process inside but she said it was easy since there are a lot people to guide them.

Recieved the passport today.

Did you take the appt in telugu?

I am trying for a telugu appointment but I am not able to get it. Any ideas

I have taken telugu appt few months back.Just keep on checking the dates(almost for every few min),you can find some cancellation dates.I know its a frustating job but there is no other way.I did the same for almost 6 months.
