Hi guys,
Got a 10 yr ME at the Mumbai Consulate. Going to give my USMLE Step 2 CS. The CO had some knwledge of medicin and she kept asking about what my future plans were and which medical schools I intend to apply.Didnt check a single document except my scheduling confirmation for the exam.For sor meone who had every reason to be rejected( not employed, post graduate medicine, unmarried) I had every reason to be happy to get a visa.Thanx to all U guys..fab site.
A few observations:
1) I think U have to be clear why U are going to the US especially for folks like my case. Answering confidently surely helps.And to answer confidently U have to be clear about why U are going.
2) 4th July and around is surely a good time to appear. People at the rush service were surprised to unexpectedly receive 10 yr MEs.
3) Prepare Ur key documents well. Practise a good answer to the key question : how should I believe U shall return to India.
