Reg FingerPrint before visa issuance..

Hi all

Is "finger-printing" procedure done on all applicants or is it done for a few ppl who come to interview?
I read reg fingerprint procedure for applicants in this site. No where it is mentioned reg rejection etc,.
I am asking this because my mom who has got a interview scheduled this week is saying that she has got a small wound in her index finger.
Will this in anyway affect the B Visa approval..

Some one help me out.. i am a bit worried..

Yes. everyone has to give their finger print.

They might not reject the visa based on this. But if they decide to give the visa to your mom, they might ask her come back to give the fingerprints again once the wound is gone.
