visitor visa expiration issue. Please help

Hi,
My mother-in-law visa will be expired on July 7th. But, her return flight is on July 8th @ 8:30 pm from NY EST. Do i need to apply the visa extension for a day?. I tried to advanced the ticket but it is not avaliable. please advise me on this situation. Thanks

Extending the visa might effect the chances of her coming US next time.I prefer better leave within the valid time.

Dont apply for the extension...........she will leave anyway before you get an answer.......she wont have any problems if she leave sthe next day but try again if you can to change it

You can leave US even without extension after expiry of your current 1-94. But that will hamper the visitor chance to revisit US.
