Senator's letter format

My mom's visa is rejected for couple of times. After two years, I am trying a third time to get her here. I would like to try from all the avenues.

Can somebody send me the format of the letter to senator requesting to write a letter to the Indian consulate for reconsideration?

Any help is greatly apreciated.

I'm sorry to hear abt the visa, did they give a reason why it was denied.

In one of posts here, I had requested for a format for a senator letter, when i didnt hear from anyone for days. I just went to my senator's website and wrote him an email. I'll shortly be mailing and faxing the same to him and call as well. I didnt follow a pattern, i just wrote bare facts, why i'm calling my folks, what lifestyle they have there, stated thier age, why they'll never consider living here, and why a visitor's visa is best for them.

i got an automated mail with apporpriate phone no's to reach his office depening on the issue, for eg: call DC office for SS benefits, Immigration and Visa concerns etc etc. It's good idea to keep thier ppt no's handy.

Format

The reason was 214(b). The fact that both children are here and she is a widow causing it very difficult to obtain visitor visa for her. But she does not have any intent to live here in US. She just wants to spend few months with our families.

This time I am trying to put up everything possible and prepare her well.

You are correct that there will not be any specific format. I came up with my own letter which became very lengthly and I started to cut it down. Then I was wondering if there is a format that somebody used successfully and I can just use it.
