H1B Visa Stamp and I94 validity -- for Tourism/Family visa for my Parents

Hello All:

My H1B visa stamp is valid till 4th Jan 2007 with my Old employer.I transfered my H1B to another company and I have I94 valid till July/2008( with new employer as petetioner).

My Parents are planning to come to US, and we got an appointment on 10th Jan 2007.we tried to book slot before Jan 4th 2007( my visa valid period), but dates are not available.

Will it be a problem If they carry my passport copy with the expired visa stamp but valid I94 till July/2008.

Please give me your suggestions.

As long as you long as you are in valid H1 status, it does not matter that your H1 stamp is expiring.

I have a similar problem...i am on L1-b visa. i am on a project for indian software firm. my visa expired, but my visa petition n i-94 r still valid..please let me know if i can sponsor my parent's visa though my visa has expired?
