DS 157 Question please help!!!!

Dear Friends,

I filled the form DS-157, I am facing problem while filing for my father. My father is a retired govt. servant. While filling experience, I filled it as Engineer but it ask for the address, supervisor name and telephone number. It is very difficult to fill all these information.

You may aware that most of the govt. agency people wont stay in a single place, Also whoever worked as supervisor for my father is also retired. I filled the supervisor name who is retired but we dont know the current their telephone number if I don’t fill the telephone number it is not closing. I am applying for tourist visa!!!

What normally you guys fill for education and experience for a retired person in DS157 form?

Please help!!!

DS 157 question please help

I have the same situation too. So I filled the name of the last supervisor he worked with and provided the office number of the company in general (not specifically that person).
I did the same thing with college/school also. My father doesnt even have certificates. We just filled the school/college name and I got the telephone numbers from google. I am sure the visa people would understand that many things would change from the time the application worked or studied.


Let me know if someone differs with my opinion.
