Returning to U.S. on B2

I have returned to my home country after visiting and staying in the U.S. for 4 months. I did not overstay but I wish to go back there soon. How soon can I go back, or is there a recommended time-frame that I should follow in order to avoid problems at the port of entry.

There is no such restriction… but ~6 months is recommended.
