Hi all,
First of all i am very thankful to everyone on this gr8 site for all the help.
We made all the documents and other papers according to this site.It was a gr8 help.
My in-laws got visa this thursday.Although their interview time was 10.30am they went in by 9.15(they reached early).Although my FIL knows english very well,we requested a translator.I guess they had to wait till 3 as there was alot of demand for the translator.
We had made two files.
A sponsor file.A visitor file and the third file had all other imp stuff like PAN card,Ration card, voters ID etc, which was not mandatory.
My FIL is 61 and is a retired business man.He is not doing anything currently also he gave up business almost 7/8 years ago.So we were a bit worried about the fact that there is no monthly income.
He owns his own house so property wise we were strong.
The VO was very nice and greeted parents nicely.
They were asked only 4 questions and the visa was granted.
1) why u want to go to USA?
2) What do u do?
3)how long u want to stay?
4)what does ur son do?
The only document asked for was I 134.
no questions were asked to mum.
We dont know what kind of visa has been granted ...but we are very happy.
Thank u once again.
All the best to everyone.
Just aske parents to be calm and confident(taking interview over the phone really helps to build their confidence).
Thank u immihelp.
