A question on filling form-156 for Mom.

What should I mention for 21. 'Present occupation' in Form 156 for my mother. Shes a housewife and studied until 10 th class.

Could you please suggest?

Present occupation it is mentioned ' Even if you dont have 9 to 5 job, try to list something here..This will help show you have some activity that will attract you back home when your visit to US is over.'

You can write some occupation only if you have some occupation really.

In your case, write 'housewife' or 'homemaker'.
