  • NA fields in DS-156

I filled all the fields correctly while entering data into DS-156.
However, when we print on paper, some of the fields are coming empty.

For ex: I selected "No" for the "are you employed or studying" question as my father is retired.
Then it grayed out the text fields where I can enter present employer name, address etc. However when I printed it, the place where I selected "No" didnt come up, instead the text fields "Name of the current employer" , "address" came up empty.

There are more examples like this.
My question is do we need to fill in "NA" for all such fields or can be left as it is. If we miss some fields without writing NA, will the people at visa office correct them or will they right out reject the appointment.

    Any thoughts are helpful.

    -thanks for the help

Don't worry about this. As long as you are filling up the forms on government web site and such things are happening, it's fine because it is happening with everyone, and not just you. Therefore, it is fine.
