I am a permanent resident and my parents have got their tourist visa appointment on 21 st of August. I have already sent in all the required documents to them. I have my citizenship interview on the 17 th of August and I am worried if I need to send in the documents relating to my citizenship to them immediately. Or is it fine if they could explain the situation to the visa officer

You don't have to send the citizenship papers. As long as you are in any legal status in US at the time you sent the documents, you are fine.Immihelp Support
