And after all this sweat, you again start worrying if the lame **** officer who would interview your parents woke up on the right side of the bed or not.

It might be worthwhile to pursue with yout local congressmen for individual cases, but change across the board will be a pipe dream.

At least we can lobby to fix the appointment system. We should try to get concrete evidence aginst VFS abusing the system and see if that helps. In any case, we should try change the system so that once can get an appointment in 3 months, regardless of the language.

OMG, HurricaneBay, you have hit the point, I've heard and seen friends who pay 20k to get a h4 appointment for thier spouse the next day, people who pay 10, 000 for an appointmet next week ! VFS is a sham....I had waited 5 months for a regional appnt. You couldnt be more correct, apart from the appt, worrying if hte VO is in a good mood or not is extremely daunting.

People talk abt applicnats being confident and it depends on luck- is completley biased. There is no such thing as luck to get a visa, and on top of it, anyone can waver a bit when asked questions in a interrogative suspecting tone.

I'll write and coomunicate with my congressman, it'll be like a drop in the ocean, but we have to do something.
