I am plannng to invite my mom in law for tourism. I have been here for about 4 months now on L1 . My mom in lasw is a goverment servant. I would need you advice as to sponsership. which is better if i show that i am sponsoring or she shows that she is self sponsring the trip.. Pls advice

Either way is fine.

If she can show that she has enough money to sponsor herself, that is fine. Otherwise, if you can show that you have enough money to sponsor her, that is fine too.

If you can show both of you have enough money together for her trip, that is fine too.
