6 months visa - inability to travel

Hello all,
My parents got 6 months visa today. I am not sure that it'll be possible for them to travel within next 6 months. What are the consequences of the visa getting rejected/granted the next time considering the fact that they did not travel the first time inspite of having the visa? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I am sorry to hear that your parent's won't be able to travel.
I would like to share my experience with this subject.
My parents got their visa approved in 2001 but they couldn't travel due to unexpected health reason. After that my mom applied for visa again in 2005Jun, her visa was rejected and VO was repeatedly giving one and only one reason that she wasted visa granted earlier.

she went again for a interview in Aug2006, rejected and same reason was given.

My reply is not ment to discourge you, If i have i would like to apologize.

But if this is one of the decisive factor i would like everybody to be aware of it.
