What did your in laws get when they were issues the Visa? My parents mentioned they got a receipt for Rd4600/- and that has my dad's passport number on it. When Blue Dart delivers the passport is this the "Airway Bill" they have to return? I got a bit confused with all the information on the Visa Issuance section. They mentioned something about a photocopy of the passport with visa stamp. When do they give this? Can you please clarify this confusion?

A stamp is put on the photocopy of the passport inside the consulate when you get the visa. You need that page also to get the passports back, in addition to the airway bill.

This is what happened in my in-laws case.

They got a receipt for 2600/- once the interview is over with DD# and Passport# etc on it.
After 3 days, they went to local Blue dart courtier office and collected the passport, where courier people asked for the passport# and Address Proof/Photo ID just to make sure that they are handing-over the documents to correct person.
In their case no "Airwaybill", "Copy of passport" were asked

Yah! My parents also got just a receipt with Rs4600/- and with my dad's passport number on the receipt. I was worried that they did not get the photocopy of the passport. Thank you very much for the answer. I am eagerly waiting for Friday to see if they got a multiple entry visa.
