Anyone recently booked appointment in Kannada language

I am looking to book appointment for my parents in Kannada language. Did anyone recently book appointment at Chennai consulate in Kannada...

Also is it possible to take appointment in English and then change to Kannada???

Please let me know

You can't take English appointment and then change to Kannada. You will have to cancel English and start all over again for Kannada appointment.

When my parents were in Chennai consulate on Aug 1st there was a lady who took English appointment while booking the slot but when she went to the Visa Officer she requested for Telugu interview. Immediately the VO said sorry and asked her to leave. The reason they gave was that she wasn't consistent with her appointment. Once they said sorry the lady practically pleaded them to conduct her interview in English and they simply denied! Although in the past there were posts here from some participants that they could get a translator once they went inside, I would recommend against it (especially after what happened with this poor lady).
