docs to show my mother's property

My mother is a widow. The ownership of the house is still in the name of my father. I want to show this house as my mother's property (to show the ties back to India). I have one brother who is working and they are staying together.

My question is how to show the house as my mother's property. It will take long time (more than 1 year) to change the ownership of the house from my father's name to my mother's name.

Is there any way to show in support that will proof that as wife of my father she is the owner of the house property?

If anybody has any experience/knowledge of similar like this please suggest me.

If you show the proof of your father's property and your father's death certificate, it is enough to show that now it is your mother's property.

But in the death certificate , do they want to see my mother's name as wife. Because in my father's death certificate nothing is mentioned like that.
And they don't have the marriage certificate also. Only my mother's passport has my father's name as spouse.

do they require any proof like that!

Wife name is never written in the death certificate.

Does your birth certificate have both your parents' name? That is the proof who your parents are. You can show that.

Additionally, your father's name in your mother's passport name would also be helpful.

actually I don't have my birth certificate, instead I got non-availability certificate. But in that certificate they mentioned that they didn't get any record of my name. i don't think it has my parent's name....but I have to check it again. In support of the non-availability certificate I have to give the school final certificate as my DOB proof. I know my father's name is there in school final certificate, but not my mother's name.

Is that ok?
Can you please suggest me other any docs which can be a proof like this?
